Chloe is an elderly cat that has been breathing irregularly. An ultrasound with VEC Cardiologist Dr. Regan Williams shows that Chloe could have a condition named hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Then, another cat named Alien with a history of injuries comes to the VEC after a knitting needle pierced the inside of her mouth. Dr. Debbie James suspects that internal bleeding could be causing the motor function issues now present in Alien.
Season 1, Episode 12 – “Feet to the Fire"
When Shadow the golden retriever tests positive for heartworm, Dr. Regan Williams steps in to determine if the dangerous parasite is present. An ultrasound with Dr. Williams could reveal any trouble in Shadow. Then, a cat named Tiger comes to the VEC after surviving a tragic house fire. Dr. Devon Boyd attempts to treat Tiger's severely burned paws to get him back on his feet.
