Season 1, Episode 9 – “Taming of the Dragon"
Mazy the bichon has had a few seizures, and her owners seek neurological care from Dr. Debbie James. She suspects a brain tumor or inflammatory disease could be causing the seizures and orders a CAT scan and spinal tap to find out. Then, Dr. Devon Boyd travels to the local zoo to operate on Loka, a Komodo dragon, who needs to be spayed. She'll have to fly by the seat of her pants to operate on the exotic animal. Later, Titan the cat comes under the care of Dr. Dawn Martin for respiratory issues.
Season 1, Episode 10 – “All in the Family"
Dr. Boyd's own pup needs surgery to repair his knee. Then, Dr. Bryer tries to help poor Trigger the cat, who is in need of serious relief. Later, an aging kitty finds herself unable to walk, so Dr. Bryer and Dr. James team up to get her back on her paws.
