Wild Shepherdess with Kate Humble is a documentary series which sees Kate living with shepherds in some of the most extreme environments on the planet. She finds out how the relationship between shepherd and flock has played an important part in human history.

Season 01 , Episode 01 -- "Afghanistan"
Kate treks for two days in Afghanistan to reach the remote mountains of the Wakhan Corridor to live with some of the most traditional shepherds on earth. The Wakhi shepherds are one of the planet's last truly traditional herding cultures.
