Season 01, Episode 03 - "Countdown to Revolution"
Drama-documentary chronicling the fall of the Bourbon dynasty under Louis XVI. As starvation plagued the French population, the aristocracy became increasingly unpopular, with Queen Marie Antoinette receiving some of the blame for their excesses as they partied in the gilded palace of Versailles. The King's attempts at reform were consistently blocked by his greedy relatives, ultimately leading to his death during the French Revolution. Narrated by Cherie Lunghi.
