The first of two programmes this weekend in which the successful contestants from the past five weeks head to London for the boot camp stage of the competition. More than 200 hopefuls will be put through their paces in choreography, vocal coaching and styling sessions at Wembley Arena, under the watchful eyes of Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and, in the absence of Cheryl Cole, guest judge Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls. Dermot O’Leary is on hand to see who makes it through to the next stage – and who will be heading home.
