Wine queen Sophia Fink has been murdered in cold blood. Inspectors Beckmann and Brehme start to investigate. Suspicion falls at first on the strange man who saw the wine queen in the vineyard before her death. It’s not looking good for him until he is suddenly given an unexpected alibi. Hanna Zepter, the mayor’s wife, claims that he was at the wine festival the whole time. He becomes increasingly puzzled by the strange events in the village. And he still doesn’t know who he is.
