In Tempting Fortune, 12 strangers will spend 19 days in paradise. Arriving with basic survival gear the group will think they have what it takes to become heroes of the latest reality adventure show. All of their whims and wishes are there for the taking, but everything has a price. Giving in to temptation will come at a cost and reduce the prize fund for everyone. Paddy McGuinness challenges a group of 12 strangers to make a gruelling trek across 18 miles of the South African wilderness – and resist a series of temptations along the way. The party starts out with a prize fund of £300,000 to be shared at the end of the journey, but each time one of them cracks, the money goes down.
