A fraught river-crossing exercise causes divisions, then - as relationships start to buckle - the directing staff apply further pressure by asking the group to identify its least trustworthy members. As individuals are singled out and become isolated, the DS pair up those who are suspicious of each other in a forward abseil off the top of a waterfall, where the life of the jumper is the hands of the recruit holding the rope at the bottom.
