Season 9, Episode 13 – "Wells"
The team are taking on one of their tiniest gardens ever. In the little town of Wells lies the little plot of David and Fiona. The garden must be colourful with a Moroccan influence. Flo and Chris are tasked with packing it all in and it's Chris' Riyadh-inspired design that wins the couple over. The team face the hottest day of the year for the build, and it takes its toll, particularly with metres of tiling going in to achieve that Middle Eastern look. Chris’s focus is on the central water feature that needs to be perfectly sited, but Flo’s golden-painted screens are the icing on the cake. With the addition of some stunning exotic plants for the finishing touches, its not long before the couple's new Moroccan marvel is ready to be seen.

Season 9, Episode 12 – "Doncaster"
Kirsty and Daniel have spent the last three years renovating their 1800s farmhouse. Now, they're eager to revive the neglected garden with the same tender loving care that they have put into the interior. The garden they have in mind has a traditional country cottage style with earthy hues at its core. They would like to use reclaimed items such as pig troughs that recall the history of the building and are keen not to lose the original winding path. They want a relaxed, informal design, with dog-friendly plants and a patch of grass for the baby they are expecting to play on. With £6,000 inherited from their grandparents, they want to create a garden in their memory, and it is up to Charlie and Chris to achieve their dream.

The Garden Rescue team face one of their biggest challenges ever in Witney, Oxfordshire. Amy and Chris’s garden sits at the bottom of a steep bank and is shaded by a mass of trees. Charlie and Chris both come up with woodland-inspired designs to tackle it, with Charlie coming out on top. But before anything pretty can be done, the landscapers have to secure the sloping bank and level the lower part. This impressive feat of engineering enables Charlie to realize her natural vision that includes a stunning water feature and beautiful terraced borders.

Season 9, Episode 10 – "Billericay"
Mike and Val have always enjoyed their garden, but now Val isn’t able to access it, so it's time to call in Garden Rescue. The couple would love a fragrant rose garden, and Chris and Charlie are the designers battling to win them over. The couple go for Chris' design, and the first task on the build is to create a seamless new deck from the back of the house to the upper level of the garden, which is quite a feat of engineering. Chris’ design is for a more traditional rose garden with the central feature being a circular brick and sandstone patio under a stunning octagonal pergola. Meanwhile, Charlie wants to help Rose to start gardening again and so comes up with a design for a multi-use potting table. But the real stars are the roses, and Chris has included every variety in his planting plan to give Val the garden she wants.

Shaun was passionate about the garden, especially his veg patch and his lawn. Tragically, Shaun became ill with cancer and his battle ended in 2022 at the age of 63. Anna's dream is to transform this space into a shaded oasis reminiscent of their holidays in Palma Majorca. Their visits left an indelible mark, especially the memory of an Arabic shaded garden. She would love Lee and Flo to create a memorial space with a water feature that provides a soothing backdrop where she can remember Shaun. Although her £6,000 budget won't recreate Palma, can Lee or Flo create a garden that gives a meaningful nod to those cherished memories, an oasis of solace – a tribute to the love she and Shaun shared?
