1x6: There is love in the air between Chris and Mark as the new year begins as they manage to put their differences over children behind the. Danny is still finding it hard to deal with his rejection by Debbie. After Debbie learns that Danny had some bad news she ends up going looking for him. Joe and Amanda team up with George ahead of his club launch to make The Playground a Liverpool landmark.

1x7: George is getting ready for the launch of his much-anticipated members club. Amanda, Joe and George host a competition to finda stylish Scouser ahead of the club's opening night. Debbie travels to London to take part in a modelling job in her attempts to get over Joe. Elissa attempts to get herself a date. Gill and Chloe go with Adam and Joe to watch Sean's football team.

1x8: Having been to see Sean's football team play, Gill is taken away by Mark and Chris who are determined to make one of her dreams come true. Elissa reveals how she really feels after an awkward conversation with Joe. George opens the doors to The Playground. Amanda attempts to show her friends how to show up in style.
