Click is back in the USA this week with a sustainability special. Spencer Kelly heads to Babcock Ranch, Florida - America's first sustainable town - built from the ground up and powered almost entirely by solar energy. He takes a spin in its solar-powered autonomous shuttle, visits their new battery storage facility and drops in to meet the estate's early settlers.
Sticking with renewable, Kate Russell heads to California to see a new green energy storage solution in the form of a Gravity Train. The new concept harvests energy created by a train free-rolling down a hill. It relies on gravity to operate - something in no short supply.
From the UK Lara Lewington reviews the latest in Augmented Reality applications, and back in Florida, Spencer visits the world's leading hurricane and wind research laboratory. The University of Miami's giant hurricane simulator tank provides data on the very real dangers hitting America's coasts. Part of the work conducted there focuses on the importance of coral reefs absorbing blows, protecting shorelines, so Nick Kwek heads down under to the world's largest coral collection, the Great Barrier Reef, Australia. Special underwater drones are being developed to help monitor the endangered reef and take out predators posing harm.

Could knowing our emotional state be the next battleground for companies wanting to sell us their products? As the field of "neuromarketing" grows, we look at the tech behind it and ask just how accurately our feelings can really be known by others.

Click has been following efforts in the US where police have been using AI and an algorithmic approach to tackling crimes. In the US potential criminals are selected for targeting before a crime is committed. Now similar techniques are being piloted in the UK to help prevent re-offending, and Marc Cieslak has been to Durham to see how AI is being used to choose which criminals to target with additional resources. As you might expect, such an approach is not without its controversies.
We're also looking at facial recognition - after showing some of the practices employed in China we speak to the biometrics commissioner about the situation in the UK and particularly the practice of some companies of scraping social media profiles to build facial recognition databases without the consent of individuals. We're also in the Faroe Islands to see why the government there has given every single one of its citizens an app which trains them to be more musical.
