Married at First Sight, which will center on six brave souls who agree to legally marry the moment they first meet. Married, an adaptation of a hit Danish format, will also include four specialists who will create what they believe are three perfect couples based on scientific matchmaking. The first meeting for these couples, each comprised of people who've had no prior luck in the love department, will be as they walk down the aisle.
Season 1, Episode Special – “Matchmaking (Pilot)”
This is a social experiment whereby a team of relationship experts aim to match three couples to get married at first sight. The experts have narrowed down the pool of participants to just six singles who they will analyze further and match with their ideal partner. Once the matches are made the couples have less than a week to prepare for their weddings without knowing anything about their future spouse.
Season 1, Episode Special – “Casting”
This is an in depth look at the casting process for this ground breaking social experiment, where a team of relationship experts, set out to arrange three marriages. If the experts succeed the couples will not meet until their wedding ceremony. Once married the couples will live together, legally bound, for five weeks before deciding if they want to stay married or get a divorce. This hour long special will introduce the experiment, the four experts and determine whether anyone will be brave enough to participate.
