Plot: A young orphan strives to break the curse that has cast a dark shadow over Christmas in this fantasy adventure for the entire family. Legend has it that long ago the king's daughter vanished in the forest while searching for the Christmas star. That day the king cursed the Christmas star, and the holiday became a cause for mourning. But young orphan Sonja is determined to find the star and save the princess, and she's determined that nothing will stand in her way. When the help of some resourceful elves, a benevolent bear, and that jolly old soul St. Nick, Sonja sets out in search of the missing star, and discovers the adventure of a lifetime.
