Sumatra to Australia
Simon's final part of the journey starts on the northern tip of Sumatra, near the epicentre of the 2004 Tsunami. He then makes his way to the Indonesian capital of Jakarta, where he finds out more about the shocking trade in exotic pets and meets a group who are attempting to save one of the country’s most bizarre species, the slow loris. Australia is the final destination of his journey, and site of one of the world’s greatest and most unspoilt wildernesses, the Kimberley.
