This new series explores how a new wave of innovative kit homes is helping ambitious homeowners build dream houses in some of the UK's most remote and challenging locations. Architectural designer Charlie Luxton and commercial designer Aidan Keane meet determined families who are going against the odds to build bespoke homes on incredible plots.

Season 1, Episode 1
Heather Li and Phil Lines are attempting to build their dream kit home on a clifftop overlooking a loch on Scotland's rugged north-west coast. Heather and Phil lead jet-setting lives and for years they've dreamed of creating a wilderness bolthole where they can unwind. Having stumbled across their perfect plot, they realised that conventional house building would be nigh-on impossible due to the remoteness of the site and its narrow, winding eight-mile access road.
