Wildlife expert Steve Backshall visits Queensland as he continues the series in which he goes in search of the fiercest animals on the planet. Steve tracks down the Irukandji, the smallest but the most venomous box jelly fish in the world, with a sting that can be fatal. He gets hands-on with a stingray, a fish with a fearsome reputation but which rarely poses a threat to humans. He also encounters the cassowary, a giant flightless bird with a lethal kick, scours the rainforest for two spiders with extraordinary hunting techniques, and goes in search of the country’s largest venomous snake, the elusive Coastal Taipan.
