Plot: Following a painful separation, broken-hearted Leyla (Fahriye Evcen) decides to return home to recuperate from the trauma. But there's an additional challenge. She must also repair the broken bonds with her strict authoritarian father, Selim (Sait Gunay). Her path soon crosses with that of Iskender (Ozcan Deniz). An emotionally damaged construction worker who was raised in an orphanage, he lives alone and has never had a home to call his own. The mutual attraction is apparent from their first exchanged glance, but love takes longer to blossom. Unfortunately, the couple couldn't be more different. She's been scarred by her experiences, while his life has been characterised by loneliness. He also struggles to imagine life as a husband. On these delicate foundations, they start to build a relationship. But there's trouble on the horizon and their happiness could prove to be short-lived.
