A new series that puts a satirical and twisted grown-up spin on 'story time'. Every episode of Crackanory will contain two tales, each punctuated with a mixture of narrated live action and animation. Penned by some of comedy's most imaginative writers, the stories will be performed by comic actors and comedians who are allowed to let their dark, comedic minds run wild to put their own enchanting spin on storytelling. Harry Enfield, Jack Dee, Sally Phillips, Jessica Hynes, Stephen Mangan, Rebecca Front, Hugh Dennis, Sharon Horgan, Charlie Higson and Richard Hammond are amongst those who will be sitting in the chair. Meanwhile the stories featured are the work of comedy writers including Jeremy Dyson, Nico Tatarowicz, Holly Walsh, Jason Cook and Kevin Eldon.
