It the swinging 1960s in Liverpool. Music has taken a hold of the city. Priscilla White is your average typist working in an office environment. However, she has an amazing singing voice. The limelight is calling for Priscilla and Priscilla yearns for it just as much. Ringo Starr, a childhood friend, invites her on a tour with his band, Rory Storm and the Hurricanes. Her Catholic father refuses to let her get involved. Priscilla mesmerises crowds at the Cavern Club and the Iron Door and soon finds herself swept off her feet by Bobby Willis - a charming older songwriter. However Bobby is not all he professes to be. The truth is, he's the same age as Priscilla, and works in a bakery. Bobby is smitten by her and is willing to win her back. However does Priscilla feel the same?
