BBC Proms 2015 Concerto Colin Currie Plays Gruber PDTV x264-JIVE

Tom Service presents as internationally renowned soloist Colin Currie takes to a Royal Albert Hall stage packed with percussion to perform the world premiere of a new concerto, ‘into the open…’ by the idiosyncratic Austrian composer HK Gruber. The BBC Philharmonic continue the concert with Stravinsky’s unflinching ‘Petrushka’, conducted by John Storgards.
