Plot : Buddy (Eddie Cibrian) is a janitor at an elementary school. He is also starting his own handyman business. Buddy lives a quiet life with no frills, but he is extremely happy. This is a man who continually wears a smile and who always is cheerful and eager to help anyone who needs anything.
As a child Buddy was adopted by a couple who have loved him through his life and who know how special he is. Another person who loves him is his fiancée Alice (Lisa Sheridan) who works at a hardware store. The couple does not have much money but they are extremely happy. As Alice tells him, all she wants is him.
